Helium  (web framework)

A PHP-based MVC framework and templating engine designed, developed and maintained entirely by myself. Built to be lean, easy to install and painless to use. Leverages jQuery for all frontend development, and is built to work with a typical LAMP stack. Can be configured for Mongo, CouchDB, and other NoSQL datastores. Comes bundled with many useful classes and libraries, and core files are managed by your operating system's package manager.

GitHub Repositories  (various)

Validator: Simple jQuery Form Validator
CentralAPI: A way to centralize API functions
CentralBuilder: Using the CentralAPI system, this will build PHP or Java libraries for managed services
FlyAPI: A simple, easy-to-use API generation tool

Independent Work

D-Social  (start-up)

D-Social offers a robust, scalable, and simple replacement for the bland and basic company or office directory systems that are often used. They provide a socially-driven, relationship-oriented, fully private and secure company and colleague discovery tool that will help clubs and groups, innovation centers, office buildings, incubators, and accelerators create a collaborative environment, and provide an out-of-the-box promotional option for clients.

Littera Report  (platform)

A web service designed to help democratize and professionalize citizen journalism, allowing independent media contributors to produce content that can compete for recognition with any news service or journalist. Content is organized organically using a specialized hyper-locality algorithm that determines the most relevant geographic zone and using community locality and prominence to socially form the content to be presented to the user.

TwinCities Innovation  (initiative)

We are developing a multi-part initiative, including for-profit and non-profit components, in the north-central Massachusetts region (centralized in the cities of Fitchburg and Leominster) in order to create a series of interconnected programs to help create, promote, and sustain local technology ventures and promote technological education in area academic institutions.
